New Technology

No new technology can be infused into a flight project unless it has reached a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of at least “TRL 6”.  The Final New Technology Summary Report must be submitted earlier of completion of work under the funding agreement.  The first Interim New Technology Summary Report must be due 12 months from the effective date of the effort. We shall submit completed  summary reports and or disclosures of Invention and “New Technologies” to the concerned center funding the activity. If subcontractors have latest Items to disclose, they should follow the same reporting process as prime participants.  The new technology report must be so precise that it should not need any further explanation. You can use explanation graph, visuals and any other helping material that boosts up your financial body to look into the latest inventions.
If additional space is required, include an attachment that can also be attached so that finance officer can know your intentions regarding the latest inventions. If an individual disclosure of invention and latest report is submitted using the on-line reporting tool, it is not necessary to follow up with a hard copy submission or further you can check the way your company has mentioned for submission of the new technology.
The cumulative summary listing of all New Technology Items developed during the entire performance of the Funding Agreement provides certification that there were none of the members that discouraged the presence of their intellectual application to search for the new technology. There can be multiple challenges of adopting a new technology but challenges are the integral part of any invention and the fact that all new new technology comprises of one or more challenges is well known. Developer community is the first to turn new technology into software that the world has never seen.  For multi-year efforts, one must submit a summary listing of all New Technology Items developed during the reporting period and provide certification that there were none.  The codes governing the new invention can also be represented if the inventor want to.
